Dress Code
JUNIOR PROGRAM (Girls)
Pre-School Dance
- Pink leather ballet slippers with full sole.
- Any style of pink leotard
- Pink tights or pink ballet socks
- Hair must be secured back from face with headband or clips. Long hair must be in a bun, ponytail, pigtails or braids.
- Pink leather ballet slippers with full sole.
- Pink leotard with short sleeves
- Pink georgette wrap over skirts
- Pink tights or pink socks
- Hair must be in a bun. Those with short hair can use clips or headband to secure hair away from face.
JUNIOR PROGRAM (Boys)
Pre-School Dance, Pre-Primary and Primary in Dance
- White leather ballet slippers with full sole
- Tight fitting white shirt
- Black shorts
- White socks
CLASSICAL BALLET PROGRAM
For all classes in the Graded and Vocational Ballet, hair must be up in a bun. If your hair is short, you may use headbands or clips to secure hair away from face.
Children’s Ballet
Girls:
- Navy Blue sleeveless leotard
- Pink tights
- Pink canvas ballet slippers with full sole
- Character shoes
- Black character skirt
Please talk to Ms. Kay before purchasing your character shoes and skirts. You will not need them right away..
Boys:
- White leather ballet slippers with full sole
- Tight fitting white shirt or white short sleeved leotard
- Black Tights
- White socks
- Belt
Ballet Classes - For Ages 11 & Up
These classes are for students who come at least twice a week to class and who have had at least 2 years of ballet training behind them.
Female:
- Soft pointe shoes with pink ribbons (Level 1 may use full-sole canvas slippers)
- Pointe shoes
- Black or navy blue sleeveless leotard
- Pink Tights
- White leotard or a short sleeved white shirt worn inside tights
- Tights - black or navy blue
- White socks worn over tights
- Black or white shoes with white elastics
